Students not receiving Quickmail messages

Occasionally students will report they don’t receive messages/emails sent through Quickmail/Moodle.

This happens when the student has turned off or disabled notifications in their Moodle profile or disabled email messaging.

To remedy this issue, have students do the following:

  1. Log into Moodle and click on your Name or profile picture in the upper right-hand corner. Then click Preferences.

2. Click on Notification Preferences and ensure the disable notifications checkbox is NOT checked. (If you are concerned about receiving too many notifications, you can change the specific notification preferences within this page.)

 

3. Next, go back to the main Preferences page and click on Message preferences. A side panel will appear on the right with settings. Ensure that email messaging is NOT disabled.
