Every few years I get the opportunity to teach a course on Islam in America. I teach this during one of our intensive January terms at Centre, which gives us a chance to travel during the course. Last time, in January 2019, we visited people and sites in North Carolina, Virginia, DC, New York City, and Detroit, among other places.
