Reporting Suspicious email
The best way to report potentially suspicious emails is to use the “Report Phish” button in Outlook.
Phishing emails have become all too common, and one goal of these emails is to obtain your private/sensitive information. It is very important to look at the email carefully and not click any of the links or attached files; especially if you do not know the sender and are not expecting an email from that individual.
Centre Mailing lists
Mailing list services are available to Centre College faculty, staff, and students. Mailing lists allow you to send an email to a single @lists.centre.edu address, and have the message automatically delivered to a group of people. Mailing lists enable easy two-way communication between you and other members of your list, both internal and external to Centre College. Mailing lists are effective for announcements, moderated discussions, and mailing to groups.
If you have a recognized student group that would like to have a mailing list created, you can make your request to the Student Life Office. They will work with you to have the list created and set the owners and moderators of the list. If you’re a faculty or staff member that needs a mailing list created, you can make your request directly to ITS by emailing helpdesk@centre.edu or calling our help number.
