Math Lunch

During the semester, every other Thursday during common hour (11:30 am – 12:30pm), the mathematics program gets together for an informal lunch gathering for those who are excited about math. Our primary goal for these lunches is to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to get to know one another better. We do this while also discussing some interesting, accessible math ideas that you are not necessarily going to see in the usual math curriculum.

We know all of you might not be able to join us for the entire lunch time, but please feel free to swing by for as long as you can.

Summer Alumni Lunch Series:

Each week this summer we will gather with math major alumni on zoom and hear how they are using mathematics and how their Centre experience impacted what they are doing today. Each speaker will talk for approximately 20 minutes and then we will have time for some questions. We will meet at 12pm EST on Wednesdays.
